Silverman Media Services LLC, founded in 2008 by Peter Silverman, is a media production company located in Northwest Washington, DC.
Peter Silverman was born into a family of storytellers, with two journalist parents. He began his career in film and video at age 15, as a videographer for a humorous video about Girl Scout cookies, which appeared on CBS Sunday Morning. Peter continued to learn the craft through film & video classes offered at his high school, Georgetown Day School, and went on to Chapman University, were he earned a BFA in Film Production from the Dodge College of Film and Media Arts. After graduation, Silverman returned to his native Washington and launched Silverman Media Services LLC. Since then, his company has had the privilege of working for clients such as the FAA, Space Adventures, and award-winning filmmakers Aviva Kempner and Ginny Durrin.
